PFA-Typefaces is an independent digital type foundry established in 2020 by Martin Aleith (typeface designer and partner of Pfadfinderei™) as a platform to distribute his own typefaces. The foundry is based in Berlin, Germany. We have been designing display fonts for our own use for 20 years now. The repertoire is extensive and varied, which is why we are now willing to offer some selected typefaces to other designers.

How do I buy a font?

You just make your decision for one or multiple typefaces, choose your desired styles or family packages and pick your appropriate license size. After a successful payment you will get an email with a download link and invoice for your bought typefaces.

What Licenses can be purchased?

We're providing an all in one license, combining desktop and web license, which means you can use all typefaces in every printed context and on your website. For detailed information please have a look in our EULA.

What do the different license sizes mean?

The licenses come in three sizes from S over M to L. It depends on the number of computers the typeface should be installed with or monthly visitors of your website. In case of even higher CPU requirements, use the largest possible license selection.

What type of payments do you accept?

Our payment provider is Shopify. When clicking on checkout you will be forwarded to our Shopify checkout page. The only accepted payment method here is via PayPal.
